Sailing Sloop ‘Beauty’
Beauty is described as a traditional Windward Islands sloop, she was recently built by the master shipwrights of Petit Martinique just a cannon shot from Petit St. Vincent. At 49 ft. long, she is perfectly proportioned for sailing in comfort and style giving an authentic experience of sailing a local vessel.
The skipper Jeff will be known to guests that have visited before. Beauty is his newest creation and his joy is to share all that is beauty here.
A special feature is that she has an electric motor rather than a usual diesel engine. The concept is to be more harmonious with the beautiful environment of our waters especially as she sails almost daily to the marine national park of the Tobago Cays. She is probably the first “green “vessel since they did not put an engine in at all!
Beauty sails on private or shared charters with up to six guests and can sail to and from neighboring islands to pick up or drop off.
Lunches are a special feature as locally caught fish and lobster are cooked Buccaneer style on a barbecue and the rum can flow like true “Pirates of the Caribbean”
Guests are encouraged to take the helm and pull the ropes if they wish but not to mutiny, but why would they?
Beauty awaits the eyes of her beholders...we look forward to seeing you too! For more information, please contact the PSV reservation office.
